more working on being productive

I’m still struggling with being productive. However, my experience with weight loss has shown me that consistently taking a quantitative measure can provide enough information for you to modify your behaviour, without any sort of explicit goal or specific pre-ordained behavioural changes.

So I’m going to use the invisible clock I acquired a while ago to give me a quantitative measure of what I’m doing. It’s set to go off every half hour. I’ll record what I’m doing every half hour. At the end of a few days, I should have a quantitative measure of my productivity.

Once I get into a groove, I might decrease the sampling interval to an hour.

  1. Subject: it vibrates.
Mostly it’s that it has vibration as one of its alarm options, so that you can be aware of the time without alerting someone you may be meeting with with or making love to, as they might be offended by your clock-watching.

Interesting. Would the lovemaking, in this case, have to be Victorian-style — with at least some clothing on?
